2019/20 Tom Davies

He's only here because he's a local lad. Sick of this mentality throughout the club. He's had chances to show his worth. Doesn't matter about his age, he's made enough appearances. Can't shoot, can't pass, can't tackle, no awareness, caught on his heels, just doesn't have it. Sorry tom, but I've seen enough

Even he’s not that stupid. When Davies leaves Everton he won’t be playing Premier League football again for a loooong time, if at all. Plenty of players like him down the lower divisions.
We can only hope:yellow:
If Tom does go I think he will struggle in the lower divisions. He has no real physical strength so will get knocked all over the shoe in those divisions.
I'm at a total loss as to how he has over 100 appearances for us!

He has nothing about him mate, absolutely zero outstanding qualities. Literally any one of me, you or anyone else on this forum could get in this side and play exactly as he does. He gets paid thousands upon thousands for that crap. It’s disgusting.

Perfect replacement for Mark Noble...

Lads he isn't going to go on loan to the Championship. Why would he? He's not got to try and earn a big contract at his parent club. He's already got it. He'll go somewhere like Celtic so he can mess around in Glasgow for a year.

Thing about Tom is that we would actually get decent money for him considering his age, Premier League experience, being English and having three years on his contract. Probably £20m+.

It would all go down as pure profit for the accounts as well, with their being no transfer fee amortisation to balance against.

That has to be balanced against whether the club thinks his wage of £25K/week, small in relative terms, is worth keeping him for if we expect him to make a more significant contribution next season. Replacing him will cost significantly more in wages, I am sure.

This won’t happen.

Come on Dave Moyes you know you want to :)

I agree with this but then have to say the same about Siggs, Iwobi, Walcot & Bernard. None of them are good enough to help us challenge above where we are. Gomez will hopefully get to grips with the league after his horror leg-break which has undoubtedly made him a bit too timid to compete. Any championship midfielders caught anybody's eye? Would love another Cahill type bargain.
