Out of interest, what have you done with Allan and Dele Alli in this little hypothetical scenario?

Read back what I’ve said, I’m working on a midfield 2 with Dele playing infront of them in the number 10/split striker role or whatever you want to call it

So like I’ve said we need 4 good midfielders, maybe davies will compete with a new talented younger midfielder for the 4th/5th spot, I’d sell him personally, but his injury and contract probably means he stays.

Doucoure and Allan have done well for us, but I think we need better to kick on and challenge for Europe. So if it’s Doucoure and new signing for a while or Allan and new signing. And if allan and Doucoure have to play a number of games then it’s not a disaster, like it would be if we have to play davies & Gomes.
