Perhaps Gueye and Schneiderlin can perform this role now. That would allow us to swap Gueye for Funes Mori when he gets back.

Although having three at the back has been effective, a back four may be better against teams that want to dig in.

We created enough with a back 5 against a team digging in yesterday.

Some weeks he will and some he won't, depending on form, fitness, who we're playing, upcoming fixtures etc.

He'll play plenty.

I think one of the reasons we won yesterday was having the stronger bench. It's not always how you start the game.

Selection headaches means that you can bring on players of similar quality and not just fresh legs, this is why top sides tend to be the ones who get 'lucky' late goals.

Exactly what happened under Martinez. After season one, we were sussed regularly and we all know what happened next. Need to be able to mix things up from game to game, and within games, with a squad to match.
