I nearly shat myself laughing when I seen this 18 year old alien faced superstar contribute more to Everton in one game and a few pre season friendlies than your poster boy crush fraud Besic has in two years.

Your wide ass has gone. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.

He certainly showed up all the other centre mids...

I actually think he will make quite a few appearances from the bench this season. If he is as versatile as he seems, he will allow us to take more risks with substitutions which is a huge plus for me. We desperately need players that can cover multiple positions in our squad. Having said that, I need to see him in a league game before I get too excited.

he will start against spurs IMO.

Anything can happen. If he has impressed Koeman enough i think you will be right. I think it would send a message to everyone fighting for a spot in the team as well. Several of our players need a kick in the backside.

he's ahead of besic, mcarthy and probly cleverly. he provides the energy and tackling needed say next to a barry.

obv the new player gueye might nudge him out. but i'd like to see him start. deserves the chance from what ive seen in pre season

I will say that Spurs are a massive side, and pitting him against them in his first game might be a little rough. As long as he doesn't let the nerves get to him, I could see him playing well. I just want a day one win; I don't really care who is playing as long as they do their job.

Didn't he play the last game of last season? So Spurs wouldn't be his first game

really really impressed with him tonight when he came on. just get the feeling he has ability to keep stepping up and is not scared of the big stage.

We've had a few false prophets in recent years, but I really think this lad could be the one. Universal praise, and I'm not sure I've heard a single 'but' about him yet.

Haven't been able to see him in action yet, but I'm looking forward to the season starting.
