I agree Davies should be given a go but what McCarthy does is put a shift in, if that's not good enough then so be it but he defo works his arse off.

Looked great last season,but maybe as with some kids he needs a rocket as they think they have already made it,I've seen him four/five times this season for the ressies and however bad the first team are he has done nothing to warrant a place in the first team,Davies on the other hand has been superb.

Yes I did and what I saw is what I always see, a player with the attributes of a defender occupying a midfielders place, same goes for Barry. I want to see midfielders who can defend and attack. Or is this that just too old fashioned these days of acm's and dm's and other 'football manager' computer game crap.
