Tony Hibbert

FFS mate. This is the real world....Hibbert was a decent fullback six years ago, Osman is crap, and Kenwright is bleeding the club dry.

Yeah pretty much all true, but I'm not gonna cry because Hibbo is still at the club. Martinez obviously wants him around for a lot of reasons (that he has actually talked about) so it's a non-issue for me. He'll play in some Europa league games and be fine.

This, spot on, what do people want, us let Hibbert go and a regular first team player has to play extra games to cover for the games Martinez has earmarked for Tony, we all wanted Europa so we need to number to cope with the extra games.

Is Hibbo a bit bog eyed?

Rumour has it Samuel Eto'o has always dreamed of playing with his idol, Tony Hibbert.

I was pleasantly surprised by his performance today. I mean, he wasn't great, but I would have thought di maria would shred him to pieces. He was even in on goal if not for Shaw's bad tackle.

Yes but would he have scored with the keeper in that form? I am sorry to say he givees his 100% but other players have to cover for him leaving us short in midfield or in the centre of defence - why do we only trust Browning near the end of a game when he looks very good?????

Hibbert was at fault for their second goal imho.

Besic? (i think) played a ball up to the right hand side, an area coleman would have bombed into (acres of space available), and Hibbert watched the ball run out of play slowly under no pressure and made no attempt to be on the end of the pass. This resulted in a throw in for Man U, doesn't sound too bad, but from that they forced Howard into making that dodgy clearance and then Falcao fluked his way to a goal.

The whole situation of the ball running out of play in the manner it did, took our players by surprised and for about a minute everyone turned off. It cost us. Had hibbert collected the pass, he would've have a chance to run into the box again (weird saying that about hibbo) or cross it...
