The fact we have such a difficult fixture up next just makes Dyche’s selection in the first game all the more bizarre.

Brighton at home was a perfect game to blood new players, Spurs away not so much. I still hope to see them as they can’t be worse than what we have, Young being out is a positive but this clown manager will probably just put Holgate in his place.

Absolutely.

I'm sorry I think it's the mindset of the manager. It's like we set out avoid a heavy defeat v Brighton, because after all Brighton are this super team like Man City, so you have to be so very cautious. And still get well beaten anyway.

MNF analysis doesn’t paint us in a great light. I had just gotten over yesterday and here I am again having to watch Mitoma vs Young. Mama Mia.

Anyway - hopefully we’ll have woken up ever so slightly after making Brighton look like Barcelona. Play O’Brien at least.

At this point it’s even worth having Elijah Campbell on hand to replace Young, literally just for mobility.

Gueye + Ireogbunam double midfield was a huge part of the problem, we can't play both as they aren't good enough at knowing when to sit deep and when to go - I think he'll play Keane at right back as well, there's no way he throws the kid in up against Heung Min Son

Yeah. It's overlooked both were at fault for the first 2 goals.

Defensive or going forward?
