Very unlucky to lose that for me,deserved to win, never mind draw-don't care what anyone says-good performance, took a good finish from adebayor but how he got motm I don't know, did nothing apart from goal,we only started to go quiet playing wise bits of the last 20 other than that think it was mostly us for a lot of that game

ste is spot on we need that creative CAM, but on the pace subject we have gerard, barkley and mcgeady on the bench and who did RM play?

the speed demons of Osman and Naismith! you get what the manager plays

...thought we played well, but we clearly lacked that bit of magic where it really mattered. That's why goalscorers cost the most. We had lots of 'situations' but created little clear cut chances. It doesn't matter how well Osman plays, his detractors are stubborn in their dislike. The manager clearly thought the boys on the bench weren't right to start. Moaning sounds like the crew over the Park, one of whom just asked me if we are going for the Intertoto.

Pace doesn't mean quality, though. Especially considering we often pin teams back and need a bit of spark. Aaron Lennon's not as good as Mata.

he wasn't though, he just had 4-5 chances in which you can turn the stat on its head and say surely if he was any good 1 of those would of been in the back of the net? would it take gerrard, ozil, Oscar etc. 4-5 good chances without a goal? apart from the good lloris save the other chances he should of done better.

Naismith is simply useless who because he runs around like a jarg stracularsi the lids love it and 1 goal turns him into Ronaldo, he is useless and isn't a PL footballer IMO ive always said that.

Kneesmith would have had a good chance of a goal had the impeccable and amazing Mirallas had lifted his bloody head and played him in unmarked rather than trying to take on 15 players with his eyes closed and go for glory

Ha tbh, I'm not really sure what my martinez mask represents anymore. I've become an avid Martinez fan in recent times, how can you not, he's sound and instilled good football (for the most part) but I still faults and the biggest fault if all right now is getting a solid pair of balls into our team. Badly needed to progress, end of

It was a cheap jibe on my behalf mate, apologies.

I'm just calling for some reason. This season was going to one of change and transition. Good thing is that we've done well so far and I trust Martinez to keep improving us.

Twelve games to go and were still in the FA Cup so a tad early to write it off as of yet.

Because they weren't fit! Are you thick!
Played Naismith because we have no strikers fit and he came on and scored against villa and changed the game so he thought he deserved his chance!
Played osman because Barkley weren't fit enough..
Gerard has been out for two months and McGrreedy is still settling in..
Stop talking utter ****e

I know what you're saying lad but there was 5 mins in the 2nd half and it was end to end. We always dilly dally on the ball. No urgency whatsoever.

I thoroughly believe we need a CAM more than a striker. Barkley WILL be really good but hes not yet.

McGeady needs a pre season under his belt so there is room for improvement but not much more than some may think which will make a usefull squad player.

Zidane had no pace whatsoever

You're just being silly now. Everyone knows what I mean! Pitch was wide open and we just run to the corner flag and then wait for bodys to get forward. I thought it would change under Martinez but it must be something Everton have always done. Same goes with in swingers and out swingers.

Barkley looked fit too me, as did deulofeu, why not start them and grab a goal/take them off after 60 mins rather than the opposite and let the entire team fade working hard whilst our forwards do nothing from the ball?

mcgeady has played our last two games and could of gone on the wing with mirallas up top, but Naismith was chosen to give the spurs fans some entertainment.

no excuses

Naismith did well up front.

Shaun Wright-Phillips had pace to burn
