Hopefully a really, realy bad 1 and we only get beat by 2-3 goals.

this is what worries me we will probably lose badly tonight and with villa coming up at the weekend we could easily be dropping alarmingly in the league a defeat to benfica the following thursday will leave us in a bad position in europe

Then if we lose every game this season we will go down then if we lose every game next season we will go down again

for me it will be
nash
hibbo mustaphi distin garbutt
gosling fellaini rodwell wallace
jo and agard

Garbutt is a nice one and well worth a try, he might be young but he is a natural left footer defender, if he prove to be good enough against Spurs.

We could well use him until Baines return from injuries, the Carling Cup could be something we could do without, we have too many injuries and we are lacking form at the moment, we could well do with some more preparation time in between matches.

If we could used Coleman at left back, then I don't see why we can't used Garbutt there, we have nothing to lose if the lads is good enough then we have a replacement.

I think we are going to win tonight.

Id play our strongest team tonight, we are Everton, the day we are afraid of Spurs is the day i give up really.

Still wish we drew City, cant wait till we get a hold of them.

I would want some players back to play city but like you would love to do them

Tonight match, Everton line-up would be picked from the following player:-

Everton: Howard, Nash, Hibbert, Heitinga, Neill, Distin, Cahill, Fellaini, Rodwell, Gosling, Coleman, Jo, Yakubu, Saha, Baxter, Wallace, Akpan, Agard, Duffy.

--------------------- Howard ---------------------

--- Neill --- Heitinga --- Distin --- Hibbert ----

- Gosling --- Rodwell --- Fellaini --- Cahill ----

------------- Yakubu/Jo --- Saha ----------------

That's should be today line-up!

Howard's not injured is he, I'd play our usual keeper considering all the mixing around in defence.

...I've run out of ideas after the keeper!

Akpan has always impressed me when ive seen him - the lad can play ball and has a lovely delivery!

Seems to be no hard feelings over Baxters drug bust.

Serious lack of Width in the squad.

Akpan's a centre mid. I think if any of the young guns are going to get a game then it's likely to be Baxter, Wallace or Coleman. They seem the closest at the moment.

Akpan does look useful though, I'm sure he's from Toxteth aswell. He certainly hangs around here and used to play for Kingsley, a local Sunday League team. My younger cousin played with him.

Other than that I think your team will be spot on, maybe Yakubu will get a game if he's fit enough.
