four hours from now I'll be at the stadium and ready to take my seat and the nerves have started already. I think playing a cup game two days after a league match just sucks, what are these FA pricks thinking of, couldn't they have rescheduled it for a few days later, I mean it's just too soon,. :@

I hope Moyes takes this seriously, I know the list of players out, but this does represent an actual opportunity for silverware this season. Bear in mind EFC have never won this since it's inception in 1961, and have only made two final appearances, which for a club of this stature I find a little unsavory, we showed last year under a lot of adversity that it is possible to do well, made the FA cup final, and while a trip north of the river to WHL won't be anything far from easy, we have won there three times on the bounce, quite amazing since it took 20 years to win there in the first place.

won't be easy, hope to see a strongish side and Moyes understanding this could be a plausable target in terms of silverware, and just maybe we can have another day out at wembley, with a fully fit side to choose from I would not look beyond us progressing, but it's been far fropm great lately, a few setbacks, important players omitted, haven't won there in a cup competiton since 1986, but have done well in the league, great even, in recent years, and may let it continue tonight.

This competition is right up Spurs alley, they seem almost tailor made for this very trophy, I fear more misery tonight, wish I could see us make further progress, but I sense a miserable trip back from North London. I hope so much I am proved incorrect. 3-1. :(

We will start with a very similar team to Sunday, possibly Yakubu coming in. Moyes has said previously this is a competition he wants to win, there's no way he can start the game with a bunch of untested teenagers, that would send out all the wrong messages. He has to let the players know that he believes they can win this match and go on to win the cup, and get them to believe it too.

If we take the match seriously and go out with the right attitude then yes, Spurs will still be favourites, but at least we can make a real game out of it.

strong team as possible tonight:
-----------Howard----------------
--Hibbert--Heitinga--Distin--Neill---
--Gosling--Rodwell--Fellaini--Jo---
------------------Cahill----------
----------Saha------------------
I fancy that team to beat spurs considering the amount of players they've got out as well.

I hope that Davey puts out the strongest side possible, I don;t want to see a team of unknowns, this isin't Arsenal, we do have players available that can cause problems and I want to see them included.

Let's face it, we won't be premiership champions, alright we did make the FA cup final last season, but hand on heart can you really see a repeat, and as for the UEFA cup, too many high caliber names to really make an impact, you all know how hard that competition is to win.

Not being negative, I want this club to do well as much as the next in line, but the League cup does represent a chance to do well and it's within our capabilties to finally lift this bloody trophy after 45 years of trying, and is the easiest of the 3 we can win this season, without sounding like stating the obvious.

Please DM, strong side tonight, let's beat this opposition and let's move on from there, I only want to see an everton team win the league cup before I snuff it, probably won't see another title win but Mr Mickey is there for the taking maybe. Should be interesting tonight.

Not meaning to state the obvious but the longer we can stay in this cup the better chance we have of winning it.We should be pratically full strenght by christmas. Therefore strongest team out tonight please.

I hear you Del boy lerd, but for me, the Villa came is most important, lets put the first team players who can walk away in cold storage and give the ressys a pop.

He wont do it though ,he´ll want to win this after the last two games and theres no better tonic then a win in the capital for moral going into the match with Villa.Strongest possible and a win for me please .O and a bottle of Chang and a JD and ice on the side please.Ta.

Won't be long til we're off, but whatever happens tonight nobody can take away that day in leeds, Amokachi et al.

still living off that a little but it was a great day out, I think 4-1 tonight is a bit much to ask for.
