under current circumstances it wouldnt bother me bout goin out of this comp at this stage but 2 things r niggling away at me

1 - i would like to see them giv it a go and earn themselves sum respect rather than crumble and leave it to an age old excuse of all the players we r missing

2 - 2 of the lads i play ball with r spurs fans there has been our usual banter so far this season and id really lov it if we could pull one over them

2 of my mates are Tottenham fans, and one of them is insanely arrogant and bitter about football... so i'm hoping we can grind out a win..

I think we are facing another heavy defeat.....gloomy outlook I know, but I can't see us getting anything. Confidence is low, injuries are biting , players lacking form....

Akpan's a centre mid. I think if any of the young guns are going to get a game then it's likely to be Baxter, Wallace or Coleman. They seem the closest at the moment.

Akpan does look useful though, I'm sure he's from Toxteth aswell. He certainly hangs around here and used to play for Kingsley, a local Sunday League team. My younger cousin played with him.

Other than that I think your team will be spot on, maybe Yakubu will get a game if he's fit enough.

Hes a bit raw for the centre mate and would like to think Cahill and Fellaini may offer a bit of a physical edge and something going forward centrally, i wouldnt mind seeing Akpan out there if for nothing else getting up and down the line , being tenacious and putting in a tackle - theres a bit of solidity to him - from what i have seen he can the use ball well and put in a decent delivery - clutching at straws i know - but we are going to end up with a central midfeilder out there anyway.
