What I was applying by that is that it seems we'll have to sell now in order to buy. The reason I believe that is cos Martinez has also said the we'll have to keep one eye on the budget. The only kitty we had till now seems to have been spend on Del Boy. Its not like he's plotting a 20M move for a CB. Any good CB shouldn't cost more than 15M imo. The one CB we were slightly linked with is going to West Ham. Hence, it seems we have to sell someone (McGeady/Gibson) in order to raise money and buy.

Linked with doesnt mean officially interested, seems just media shoite. Bob has always said .....as did chuck d and flava flav......dont believe the hype !!! Believe when they wearing the shirts and quoting the "once a blue"......chuck d & flave also said this second verse....same track. BELIEVE !!!!

Yeah mate, McGeady can easily replace Mirallas.

McGeady will deputise for absentees on both flanks. He's adaptable and can offer us that.

The left sided replacement for Mirallas will likely be a player in the mould of Mertens, who can do a job as an out and out wide man and a number 10.

I'm not McGeadys biggest hater but I have to disagree here. If we can offload him for 3m that would be great.

Also think a player like Mertens could be signed with Mirallas staying. That might be me being too optimistic though.
