Scott Dann is set for a new contract worth around £65,000-a-week at Crystal Palace, according to the Express.

The centre-back has two years left to run on his current deal but will be rewarded for his excellent form from last season.

Everton are among the clubs to have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old this summer.

You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. We already brought in Del and Cleverly. Most deals don't just get completed in a few days and there are so many factors that go into a deal. Take some chill pills lads

Dann has wanted the move the last two years. We didnt want him last Summer, but the Clubs are miles apart with their valuations of him.
