Transfer Window Thread

Right so that's it with Stones - if he goes now, Martinez may as well pack his bags and leave.

Also, three signings to come.

Yep. RM has come out and left no doubt with that statement. IF Stones goes now, it's cos the board have forced his hand.

I do think that, while we'd all love a signing now, it was always likely we'd leave it late. Probably after the City game we may see a signing, but I can definitely see at least 2 of the 3 (if we manage to get all three) coming into the club in the last week.

Yes there's plenty of time left for the board to sell Stones and sort out this seasons transfer budget, and plenty of time left for the manager to bring in some quality.

They could even have another fortnight on holiday, it's not like the seasons underway or anything, no need to panic, Blue Bill won't let us down, he's a blue after all. It could be worse, we could end up like Leeds.
Hmm and here's me thinking we had a sizeable transfer budget, having sold Baines and Coleman to utd,Barkley to city,Jakielka to Arsenal,Mirallas to Spurs and Garbutt to the [Poor language removed].And that's just a little example of the scare mongering that takes place on this forum EVERY transfer window.

Nonsense.

If the big bid comes in it's a game changer.

Did Moyes pack his bags when Lescott went?

He's just literally said "John is not for sale and that's that."

If he goes now, he's had the rug pulled from under him and should resign rather than work for a board who has made a fool of him. Either that, or he's just outright lied.
