....I think of maverick being a journeyman and/or player who is capable of brilliance but very inconsistent. As far as I can see, this lad is a one club footballer, vice captain with a decent scoring record.

Agree, yarmolenko is a hybrid. Can play both positions

No. We need to improve rather than continuously standing still. We need to add a few new quality players to the quality players we already have.
