I honestly think we've dropped any interest in a striker like Austin, given Kone has started to look a bit like a player again. I don't mind that tbh if it makes us more competitive for Yarmalenko bid.

Wouldn't do that mate, i used to tell my Nefew who we were looking at signing (linked in the rags and what not) he was very very disappointed 9 times out of ten. Don't do it to yourself mate not worth the hassle.

Just read that back to myself and it sounds ridiculous. It doesn't make it any more or less on, just the Echo being weird.

Even though they were just relaying something daft, commenting on it in a semi-serious tone, it's still them sticking their neck out IMO, by suggesting it's 'on' despite no reports of a bid...

All tweets/headlines have become wildly ambiguous of late, to actually promote maximum confusion and misplaced joy/fume more-so than shirk being commit to something that ends up being wrong... probably generates more clicks/site visits.
