your real time logic is not incorrect but your emulsifying accruals and cash flow accounting might present you problems were you to apply for a job in corporate Treasury

Luckily I'm a writer, so I shouldn't have too much to worry about. That said, I wouldn't complain if you wanted to point out where exactly I took the wrong turn.

I can't find him, lads. I'll keep looking though!

No, avoiding relegation or ending up like Leeds or QPR only strengthens his arguments.

What I mean is comparing Everton to a North American team going through a rebuild isn't a good comparison because it's a valid strategy to just be REALLY, REALLY BAD for a while to build up draft picks and therefore prospects.

That's not really how it works in Europe, where if you intentionally be bad for a while you'll just dissolve. You still have to invest here. Invest in your academy, and target the rest of your small pool of funds perfectly right to fill the holes and so you eventually become good enough where you can lure in talent from other clubs to flesh out your weaknesses.

Lukaku never comes here if we wouldn't have had Europe in 13/14. What Everton are doing (or trying to do, we'll see if it pans out) is much, much harder than just bombing it and getting some number 1 draft picks.

Truly Sir, a master of understatement.
I'm disappointed the transfer window is at 6pm this year. The possibilities of watching alcohol-induced bi-polar ITKs slugging it out with the fuming majority would've been epic.

Just met a dodgy old bloke who gave me a sports almanac and said it's got every major sports result for the next 20 years. I looked up October 2015 and saw Yarmolenko scores the winner against Liverpool, 2-1. It's on! The headline read 'Twisted my Yarm' because Clyne was sent off for pulling him back in the box. Lukaku scored the pen btw, in case anyone fancies a flutter.
