We have been in talks re: Yarmalenko but these have cooled off recently. I forgot to ask why .. there is plenty of speculation on here (e.g. method of payment etc.) which could probably be true, I don't suppose we'll ever know.
3 by the end of the t/f window is correct but who they are is known only by a very select few. We avoid showing our hand for fear of 'inviting' competition / getting involved in bidding wars etc. .. I would say that this is a typical business / negotiation strategy. Made sense to me.

the scary thing is whether the club has took no notice on the quality aspect of the transfers and gone straight with the 3 players will make the fans happy, despite who they are. The two that seem to be confirmed this week are a a wait and see type of deal, they might both be worthy signings so personally not jumping the gun on the fact ive never heard of them before
It's the third player as you rightly say that if its Lennon is a massive issue towards the club. We could have had Lennon 2 months ago realistically. United fans convinced we are signing Januazi as well, which in line with Van Gaals comments about his best position being number 10, makes putting 2 and 2 together rather easy.
So unless the club suprise (or shock) us, our dealings now could be the south american 2, lennon and januzai on loan. Question from that could well be, is that good enough?

dunno why people keep slating lennon, was class for us last season, top pro and did a very good job.
Without him we would have been much worse off.
We'll probably get him yeah, but we'll also definitely get a playmaker / yarmolenko type transfer too.
