Galloway has played well when filling in he's a far better option than moving Barry out of the middle.

Yeah that's true but there's interest in Joey Barton after everything he's done. Barton's a better player than Gibson of courae but any team who's seen Gibson play knows he can pick a pass and shoot. Ideal player for teams like Bournemouth and Sunderland who need players come for cheap. I'd loan him too. He won't be getting any game time this season imo.

I think it was more because he couldn't say something along the line that there's nothing in that which he could for Bernard. I think we tried for Yarmolenko but it has fallen through.

So even though we've got plenty of options at left back and we're very short in other areas of the squad we should just waste money on another back up left back because we've got a few short term injuries there?

No I agree the other areas ( number 10) are a priority. We could loan a left back of needed but Martinez probably didn't expect so many Injurys in this position

Oviedo is starting against Bournemouth. I suspect Martinez is giving him one last chance and his performance will determine whether we go for another LB. At least that's some good news.

I'd make a move for Lescott - he can cover left-back when everyone is injured and cover centre-back too.
