We go with what we had

We go with what we had
I'm not even arsed now about who we didn't get. It's who we didn't get rid of that concerns me the most.
£8M for THAT turned down.
There's just no excuse. Not even if it was a quid up front and the rest spread over three year monthly payments. We had the chance to get rid of a man masquerading as a footy player for a big profit, one heading toward his 30s, and bring a player in with the savings.
It's just too appalling to think about.
We were never signing Yarmalenko. Certainly not without selling Stones. You aren't new to this, you know how it works.
Wrong.
key point I think. we were after someone to add something going forward. Martinez seemed very clear who his targets were and as you say to challenge Barkley in that role they needed to be of real quality. the deals didn't go through. my gut feeling is we have been given hope to think they may in Jan. Money is clearly not an issue if we have turned down bids for players so I am trusting Martinez on this one. After all it is his job on the line.Quality is the key word there. If a player(s) better than Barkley is not available to us, then what's the point in signing anybody?
Lennon a donkey?2 donkeys staying
McGeady
NAISMITH 8MIL ?!?!?!?!?!?!
+1 Donkey signing
Lennon
Disgraceful really.
Yeah. Because that's the same.
No way would a player give up champions league football - maybe a chance in January!Quite possibly.
Are people so simple?
The number 10 thing is basic common sense. We clearly wanted Yarmolenko. That's obvious. Would have been boss too.
Did you really want us to go and splash up to £20m on second or third choice?
Christ. I'm glad you don't run my business.
How was you're first day back in school mate? The big boys weren't nasty to you again were they? Xyour talking rubbish mate - were still trying to get one in from the 2 deals offered to let Naismith go without these in was suicide. All is not lost yet.
