Transfer Window Thread

Does anyone know if there was any truth in the Bernard loan rumours, was told by someone who's normally bang on with these kind of things it was possible (just before 6pm), probably nonsense.

Also what happened with the Andrade kid we had on trial, went back home sick & now joined Bournemouth, any ideas?

Exactly right. However we are in reality governed by carpet baggers so selling players is still part and parcel of any successful transfer window...as has just been amply demonstrated.
Can anyone explain the logic behind the Lennon signing (still not announced)? Without selling Mcgeady that means we have 5 wide players with Pienaar,Mcgeady,Mirallas,Del and then the 5th in Lennon. Yet Bobby will still deploy Kone/Barkley out wide or they'll eventually drift there in games. Cleverly when he comes back would play left side which sucks. Del will take time starting games and that's why I was against Lennon's signing cos we want to give Del the confidence to start and impact games from the 1st minute. Mirallas should take up the other wing if he can stay fit. We only need 1 or 2 backup wingers not 3. Lennon would be an automatic starting which sucks for Del.
At times last season at home we played lennon through the middle running at centre halfs resulting in free kicks or goals. Doesnt have to stay wide just as mirallas drifts inside. His pass rate was over 90% as well great work rate.

Haha - if you'd been reading you'd have seen I've posted photoshopped joke pics, made jokes about Ukraine and so on. As with the post you pulled me up on, you read it wrong because you had a predefined view of what I was saying. You're negatively biased basically.

Don't like me? Fine. But yes, like many others, I'm disappointed that the manager identified two target areas for our club and failed to fill both of them. I'm sorry if that's somehow unreasonable in your eyes.

GOT has a nice feature called an Ignore button - please use it.

And you cannot share your negativity with photoshop 'joke' pics?
You're right, i don't like you. Goodbye

The sexual tension is building.

Yoann Gourcuff (French pronunciation: [jɔ.an ɡuʁ.kyf] or Breton: jo.an ɡuʁ.kỹw; born 11 July 1986) is a French international footballer who is currently a free agent. He last played for Lyon inLigue 1. He operates mainly as anattacking midfielder, but can also be utilized as a withdrawn striker and is described as a "playmaker of real quality" who "is an accomplished passer of the ball".[3][4] Gourcuff has been described by former French international David Ginola as the best French player of his generation.[5][6] His playing style and ability have drawn comparisons to French legend Zinedine Zidane.[7]

Just what we need.

True hes a talented footballer think hes too injury prone though

perhaps like my employers... there are only so many executive calories to be spent in each day. Clearly all the EFC ones were used up in the Stones saga, then the yarmalenkoff mess which seemed to be all done bar the handshake didnt get a handshake, then the Mori thing dragged on over paperwork (BTW did we get the special exception?) and right at the death the seeming no brainer of Lennon turned out to be the management nightmare it always promised to be with the Levy negotiations being more difficult than agreeing a deal with Satan to ensure you never grow old. So in all we end up with a window that started really well, went quiet in the middle as planned and then got completely F-ed up at the end because we lost focus on the real goals. Everton really.
