He passed it less so had less room for error, consider there's only a 2% difference and Naismith is asked to work the ball more I'd suggest its him with the better quality of passing.
Perhaps the passes are shorter and have a lower chance of being intercepted or cut out than the longer balls we played under Moyes.
(Btw not saying Moyes was purely long ball, only that we mixed it up more under him).

At the moment just Jags / Baines for next few years i think--then Coleman/Mirallas/McCarthy/Cleverley.

However its interesting this season as we should see the progress of Browning and Galloway especially a bit more and Kenny / Ledson / Henen will show if they are ready to enter the squad.

In a years time i think Martinez will know more about where these younger players will fit in (obviously!) and then begin signing players to compliment the group.

If you look at 3 seasons from now then McCarthy 27, Coleman 29 and Cleverley 28 will be hitting their prime as well. We should gradually be in a position with this squad and yearly additions to soon just need to add one main player a season.

Last time that probably happened was Leeds under O'Leary with Kewell, Woodgate, Smith, McPhail, Harte & Robinson all playing regularly. Added young quality with Ferdinand, Keane, along with the experience of Radebe, Kelly, Batty & Viduka
Then they ruined it by buying Huckerby, Wilcox etc for stupid money.
Then there was West Ham with Ferdinand, Carrick, Cole, Defoe & Lampard, not as successful as the experience they had around them was tosh like Ruddock & Shaka Hislop.
Then the epitome of that was the class of 92 Scholes, Giggs, Butt, Beckham, the Nevilles and errrrr Robbie Savage.
They had Cantona, Bruce Pallister, Keane & Schmeichel to help them through.

Our lot we have with Stones, Barkley, Lukaku, Deulofeu and hopefully Kenny, Ledson, Henen, Walsh do we have enough of those Radebe's & Cantona's & less of them Ruddocks in our team to help them along

Valencia are plotting to hijack Everton's move forArsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.

The Gunners shotstopper recently revealed his interest in joining the Toffees this summer after falling behind Petr Cech and Wojciech Szczesny in the goalkeeping stakes at the Emirates.

The Colombian Copa America star is on the radar of Blues boss Roberto Martinez but now La Liga side Valencia want to bring the 26-year-old to the Mestalla.

It has been revealed by Super Deporte that Los Che boss Nuno Espirito Santo is preparing a loan swoop for Ospina this week to jump ahead ofEverton in the race to land the former Nice star.

Ospina, who joined Arsenal last summer and has three years remaining on his deal with Arsene Wenger's men, is reportedly happy in London but is seeking regular first-team football next term.

Everton are keen to bolster competition in the goalkeeping ranks at Goodison Park with Tim Howard and Joel Robles being the club's only two recognised keepers.
