Been saying this for ages. A backup CB doesnt need to be brought in immediately just to sit on the bench. A playmaker to get those balls forward and past defenses has to gel with the squad and get a good feeling of their movements and anticipation. Getting that player in as soon as possible is paramount.

You know, I kind of miss the old dual-thread system...

I'm not surprised it has all gone quiet while we are in Singapore, hopefully the rumor mill picks up again next week. I hope we get that attacking midfielder in soon so they have time to bed in before the beginning of the season, the other signings after that will just be back-up.
