Reckon McGeady will go when fit and we'll get Lennon back on loan close to deadline day.

Wouldn't a loan take him up until the end of his contract? Not sure Tottenham and Levy would be down with that.

I'd still rather we get a left sided player in tbh but Martinez seems to have played that idea down now. The longer it goes on the more I'm thinking he's gonna play McCarthy and Barkley in centre mid and have Cleverley on the left.

In fairness to cleverly I wasn't at all happy with him signing but he has looked composed on the ball and might just give us something extra this season if his confidence is good

Januzai played through the middle for Utd other night and apparently did well . Love to see him in blue next season . Can also see Lennon been sold before we can find enough coins behind the sofas at goodison to buy him ourselfs ..

The Shaqiri stuff has gone quiet, has he signed for Schalke yet?

Inter director Marco Fassone hopes “Stevan Jovetic’s medical goes well. Xherdan Shaqiri is our player for the moment, then we’ll see.”
The Nerazzurri have been very active on the transfer market this summer and Jovetic flew in to complete the transfer from Manchester City.
“I hope Jovetic’s medical goes well tomorrow, as in that case he will become our player. We all wanted him, the President, directors and Coach onwards. “For the moment we have too many players in the squad, so for the moment there is nobody else coming in. The market is still long, there’s no rush.”

Shaqiri is in negotiations with Schalke 04, but continues to hold up the move.“Shaqiri is our player for the moment, then we’ll see further down the road,” commented Fassone. Inter have lost all three of their pre-season friendlies in Asia, falling 3-0 to Real Madrid today. “The defeat to Real Madrid doesn’t worry us. We knew that we were going to meet top level teams.”

The big signing we need and I'll say it again is a striker - if Rom gets injured were screwed ... Also if we get the right man can play 2 up front ... Roberto surely must see soon that he can praise Kone as much as he wants but we can all see he is gash and is not going to get any better ... Austin , Borini or Rhodes would fit the bill ... For Austin and Rhodes we may even offload Kone as part of the deal ... Borini did well at Sunderland and should of got more games last year as he is better than lambert and that clown balotelli and might be a good signing with a point to prove - imagine him scoring the winner in the Derby !!!!

I'd have Bilya back in this team....under-rated, and ruined by Moyes in my humble opinion

He's made just 52 appearances in his last 3 seasons in Russia, been shipped out on loan twice and failed to make the national squad since 2012 when he made a single appearance.

As usual good work LL would take him in a heartbeat but sadly think he's not the type or character Martinez wants.

Thanks Louie, apart from the odd Sweden match haven't seen him play much so don't have an opinion on him either way really. He doesn't look like he skips leg workout day though which is a point in his favour ;)
Haha yes. The lads an obvious game changer & would light up Goodison no doubt .I think he's looking for a Fabregas (i wish) type of player.
He's Swiss btw .;)

Lol.

Borini is turbo gash lad. I never want to see him stain the blue shirt.

Jordan Rhodes is in the championship for a reason.

Mm. Both better than Kone though. Haven't seen enough of Borini but just looking for other views - Rhodes you may be right as someone would of taken a chance on him by now as he scores a lot - must be a reason ?

I can't see us signing Lennon. We already have Mirallas, Deulofeu, McGeady who play on the right. We only have one player who specialises on the left wing and he's finished.

We desperately need a left sided player for balance in the squad.

Think Osman will be our starting left midfielder mate, he's been brilliant there under Martinez.

True that tbf, Levy wouldn't allow that to happen.
