Christ I'm after reading about 30 pages on the standard of Scottish football here, So what if he plays in Scotland. If he is good (which I think he is btw) then he can play in the premiership no problem.

I remember having arguments about Henrick Larsson years ago with fellow blues who said he wasn't good enough to play anywhere else.
 

Interesting how considering media/sky sports are so quick to report stones is desperate to go to chelsea, mccarthy has asked for a transfer and depay is buying lukaku for man utd but now it seems a just as reputible if not more rumour about van dijk has come about the press are not interested

When has it ever been different? They made their minds up along time ago on that one. We just arent one of their faves.

For example: We made a massive signing last year for £28mil and all the media could do was say how Chelsea ripped us off.

But when Liverpool spunk €40mil on a player it is made out that he is the next Ronaldo.
 
For everybody saying stay calm lads etc there is another month to go, they have had since May to identify and open negotiations for targets in the areas in which we are short.

In case anybody has forgotten, this group of players were pretty dire last season and the squad was not good enough. As it stands, we have exactly the same more or less.
 
Ive never seen so many players 'linked' with concrete moves away from the club after such a bad season.

What would I like to see?

Okay Pienaar needs replacing, McGeady needs removing, Gibson needs reinforcing, McCarthy needs renegotiating, Barkley needs reinvigorating, Barry needs Reanimating, howard need relocating, Hibbert needs reassessing, Oviedo needs rearranging and Martinez needs rephenominalising?

We basically need to hire those 'doctors' the cyclists use, like Barcalona did

He is completely out of touch with reality, our team has such a limited goal threat, and is solely reliant on an inconsistent striker.

He's not mentioned the word 'winger' in there once. That's you who has assumed.
