It's not present-mindedness at all. City and Chelsea are big clubs. It's going back 20 years since we won anything - something that you are often one of the first to point out!

We can't keep living in the past either. We've got a brilliant history and fanbase, but Chelsea and City are now considered super clubs. History wise, I know, they're not as big. But how many league titles have we won over the last 15 years? As far as Stones, and any other player sees it, Chelsea and City are bigger clubs.

It's a matter of how you view 'big' as you just demonstrated. Distin (like all the other no-nothings) didn't spend too much time differentiating. That's why he should be heavily criticised. He's a former player and knows the score, dont worry about that.

Offer up no excuses for him.

I've got a good mate in Barnsley who reckons Paul Digby is the next lad with loads of potential just waiting to be snapped up.
He said we should get Holgate too.

Have Barnsley recreated La Masia or something? Where are they getting all these prospects from? Prem clubs pour millions into super academies but still end up bidding 30 plus million for a lad from Barnsley.
