Bobby, If your reading all this drama and Football Manager related stuff please stop reading after this and go and have a butchers at Quintero. He's perfect for what we need so pop round Bill's house, give him a slap and tell him to pull his finger out and get on it. If (and thats a big if) the money was available for Yarmalenko then offer it for him. Worth every penny.

If Kenwright had a pound for the amount of times people had posted in GOT that they think Lennon will come in before the window closes, he'd be able to buy Lennon twice over.

Obviously we're interested in him, but we're not desperate for a right winger, and we're not keen on the price. I reckon we'll sit tight and look to bring him in on a free at the end of the season. Lennon will hold out for us, as Cleverley did last year, and won't go anywhere else unless it's a loan deal.

Quintero hasn't exactly been great at Porto and has injury problems. At the price Porto are asking he would be a far bigger gamble than Yarmolenko who has a scoring and assists record as good as anyone and has never been injured.

I'm not saying I would be against that transfer but the price would need to be right. A loan with a view to buy would be better.

There's a big difference. Lennon is 28. He might not want to sit it out another year either on the bench or on loan as this might be his last chance to get a decent contract. Although he has been willing to sit it out this long.

How can anyone hold their nose when talking about Lennon?

He single handedly dragged us out of the gutter last season in key games.

I'd be delighted if we got him in again.

I don't think anybody wouldn't be happy to sign Lennon, we all know what a good job he did last season. It's more a case of Lennon being the only signing, as he's not the player we're in desperate need of at the moment.

Don't think it's anything against Lennon, people are just worried it'll be him, Mori and Rodriguez and that's all. I'm all for Lennon as long as we can a creative player in as well (not arsed if it's 15m or a loan)

Hypothetically, considering Martinez had clearly stated his intention to buy a very specific sort of player as early as May, should he fail to sign some significant questions would need to be asked. It would be a monumental failure.

Hypothetically of course. 31 hours to go, or something.
