ThanksYou could try the Templo de Debod. It's a 2nd Century Egyptian temple transferred to Madrid in the 60s for conservation purposes. Great views of the city from the Mirador at sundown.

Noted I've only had the one. I never drink larger usually, I like my gin or a good dark rum. Got a long island iced tea at the momentDon't drink the Chang, even over there. Tastes fine, but the headache the next day!!
There's a huge lake, few hrs drive from phuket. But you go out on a wee tour and you can stay overnight in theses wee floating huts and they catch fish and cook them for your dinner. Best thing I did over there after snorkeling coral reefs. Can't think of the name of the lake thoNoted I've only had the one. I never drink larger usually, I like my gin or a good dark rum. Not too sure if we will venture out that far other than to Phi Phi Island and Krabi. Loads to choose from so I think we will make a plan tomoz. I think we might head down to the night market tomoz also. Tonight I'm just chilling and waiting for the game (23:30pm)There's a huge lake, few hrs drive from phuket. Thanks mate, I really do appreciate itNot into the street food...
However, next to the boathouse i mentioned theres a couple of resturants that are incredibly cheap and ALWAYS FULL.
The night & day place & the others i mentioned are where the wealthy locals go.
Surin also has a 5* hotel which has some great views and a private beach if you want a little different type of day trip
Thanks mate, I really do appreciate it
We are going round different places to eat as I've rented a scooter. We will definitely try one that you have suggested
We went across the way tonight to a place called Mama Jin's. Was lovely tbf. I went for the spicy seafood salad, blew my head off and I only had a long island iced tea to hand to try and wash away the spice, but that eventually sent me on my way, so I suggested we headed back before I go on one like I did the other night. Too much alcohol and heat is not a great combo for me
No, this restaurant was across the road from us, so legt the scooter at the hotel.Food is always good quality in thailand, but need to be careful of the spices and drinking on a scooter.
I can take really strong indian curry but the thai spice is so different its like another skill to master
Have you tried Massaman Curry? Not spicy but absolutely amazing
If you fancy a change from stout this is a nice placeCork in 4 weeks...should be a boozy affair
