It's ace IMO
We went in January. It's amazing. Jaw droppingly spectacular. We also went to Lazio v AC Milan. Not that expensive either. Pizza or pasta between €8~12, a large 660ml bottle of Pironi was €6. If you can I would definitely go there.

Going to the West Coast of Greece this week, taking in Preveza, Parga and Syvota. Looking forward to it and especially that 1st pint of ice cold Mythos.
….off to Cyprus (again) with Mrs Eggs next week. When you’re old and find a top all inclusive with great food, great booze and no kids you tend to go back. Chill for a few weeks reading Everton books ahead of more holidays with the larger family through the remainder of the year.

Thinking of going back to Mexico City but I also want to go back to Japan. I am torn. Would like to go to Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, but that might need to wait a few years. Should have done that in my late 20s/early 30s - d'oh.

Did pretty much this (along with Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay) in my early 20s. Was ace. Would like to do something similar again now in my early 40s. But not that easy.
North or South Cyprus? Done both, equally great. South is definitely more development and tourist focused.
I'm going island hopping in Greece in September. It's something I have wanted to do since I was in my 20s. Obviously being much older it will be staying in hotels and taking one suitcase rather than a backpack and a tent. Assuming I've aligned up the ferry dates and the hotels on the right islands there will be no requirement to sleep on the beach! We will be visiting Syros Andros and Tinos, with a few hours in Mykonos while we change ferries.

Rome is great but we went in peak summer and the queues can be challenging. If youre planning on going book the colosseum and the Vatican before you go, don't have to queue and it's the same price or cheaper.
