Travel thread 3.0

Jumping in here to recommend a week doing inter city travel in Italy with some mates. Did Naples, Rome and Florence last year and it was an absolute cheat code. Cost us 430 quid all in before spending money for 7 nights and we stayed in an unbelievable villa in the Tuscany hills where they made their own wine on the farm and sold you bottles of it for 5 euro! Was also in Naples on the night of Napoli's Serie A title win which is a night I'll never forget. Doing north Italy this May: Milan, Verona, Bologna

Timing that one to be in Verona for the last game of the season then? Hoping to be there myself with the family

Love this thread. Really inspired to travel solo and see the world. I'm fed up of doing what everyone else wants and going on meaningless trips. I have some plans to travel this year, its just taking that first leap and booking something.

I travelled a lot by myself. Takes a while to get used to but is very rewarding. Can fully relax not having to worry about someone else.

i met an old British guy on a scooter in Cambodia once. Wasn’t a sex tourist or anything, just retired and going about doing his thing travelling around. Was inspiring.

Going to Koln on Friday, train to Leipzig early hours Saturday morning, then train to Hamburg late Saturday night. 3 days, 3 trains, two flights, 3 football games and hopefully few beers in between.

If you've not already found somewhere to eat, I thought Brauhaus Sion in Koln was fantastic when I went there. Great food and beer.

In Leipzig with my gf and her Dad. Decided to go for a day trip to Dresden today, they stayed here. They only ended up bumping into Carlo and the Real Madrid team. Gutted.

Ironically yep. Inter Milan vs Verona, we're gonna try get tickets for it. Had tickets for Roma vs Inter last year but they changed the time of the match so missed it. Hope lightning doesn't strike twice

Unreal mate. Really cool city, didn't feel touristy, nobody spoke English and they had flares coming out of every orifice for two nights running. Best atmosphere i've ever been a part of and all we did was get hammered in the streets with them
