Just had a text from my mate I’m going to NYC with. He wants to stay in Harlem. Seems a bit out of the way to me

All kidding aside, I could be wrong but I think most of what you’re looking to do would be in midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan
Yes, that’s right— Shea was the Mets old stadium. The new stadium is far better—great place to catch a game if you’re interested in baseballHaha never heard of them. Shea stadium is the Mets right?
Yeah I’ll check public transport but Harlem seems a bit of a long way from everything and not that much cheaper than Midtown
Harlem sounded an interesting place to stay, all I could think of was it’s a long subway ride when you’ve had a few and need a burst.Haha never heard of them. Shea stadium is the Mets right?

Better to watch there or Yankee stadium?Yes, that’s right— Shea was the Mets old stadium. The new stadium is far better—great place to catch a game if you’re interested in baseball
Haha that's pretty much what I'm thinkingHarlem sounded an interesting place to stay, all I could think of was it’s a long subway ride when you’ve had a few and need a burst.
I’m terribly biased but I’d say Citi Field (where the Mets play).Better to watch there or Yankee stadium?

I think the Yankees are playing at home while I'm there. Might try to catch thatI’m terribly biased but I’d say Citi Field (where the Mets play).
Back in the day, I would said Yankees stadium but the new Yankees stadium just doesn’t have much going for it.
Just make sure it’s not Williamsburg VaBooked the same AirBnb as my mate in Williamsburg. Two rooms in a house owned by some old couple.
I hate AirBnb. I'll try to find a hotel nearby in the meantime lol
Williamsburg will be a good location though, looking forward to that.
Jumping in here to recommend a week doing inter city travel in Italy with some mates. Did Naples, Rome and Florence last year and it was an absolute cheat code. Cost us 430 quid all in before spending money for 7 nights and we stayed in an unbelievable villa in the Tuscany hills where they made their own wine on the farm and sold you bottles of it for 5 euro! Was also in Naples on the night of Napoli's Serie A title win which is a night I'll never forget. Doing north Italy this May: Milan, Verona, Bologna
