Rings of Power is so bad that I actually laughed almost none-stop during the final episode. I mean, I get that making a faithful adaptation of the canon story was never important to the clown writers at amazon but what did they think they where achieving by diverting so far from what Tolkien wrote?! Ffs, not like they made a better (or even more linear) story by doing so. They just made a mess.

As I've said from episode one, its a very safe, mediocre genetic fantasy show but also an utter abomination for anyone with even the tiniest knowledge of Tolkien's work. Basically the writers became so obsessed with what they thought they could do under copyright restrictions that it never occurred to them to concern themselves with spending more precious time talking about what they SHOULD do and the utter trainwreck we have is the outcome of that.

So is House of Dragons worth watching ? Enjoyed the first four seasons of GOT when it was all about family politics but stopped caring as soon as the lame fantasy stuff started becoming a big focus.

It being pretty wank seems to be the commonly held view all over the internet’s from what I’ve seen. Then again that could just be LOTR nerds dominating the conversation.

Documentary called ' Seven Five '.

Corrupt NYPD officers Michael Dowd and his partner Ken Eurell tell their story about how they committed crimes in the 75th precinct in the New York Police Department for more than 10 years back in the 80's.

Not a new documentary but i came across it recently.

Brilliant documentary that, crazy the amount of stuff they get away with.

Somewhere Boy - first two on C4 last night.

Surely got to he’s contender for drama of the year.

Following the death of his mum, as an infant, a young boy, is locked away, in a house in the middle of nowhere, by his father, where they create an alternative world, which is safe and free from “ monsters “.

It all come crashing down, when, as a teenager, the boys father kills himself and the boy is found by the authorities.

Outstanding - episodes 3/4 on tonight.

Absolutely mind boggling. Michael Dowd, for what he did do for years, was planning to do after being granted bail, I was surprised with that sentence he received in the end. Didn’t seem enough
