The character I cared most about unfortunately took a plunge to her death in the last episode, so I do agree somewhat. But I do like Daemon too, despite being a tremendous PoS and if we're honest, the whole series is basically just ball tickling for Daemon and Aemond's eventual showdown

I pretty much agree with your spoiler there. Hopefully we're done with the mopey women / dumb angry men thing and Ep4 is the episode that gets the series back on track. It even had some actual humour in there as well.

Still can't get over that beyond stupid stealth meeting scene in Ep3 though.

don't bother, its much more season 8 than seasons 1-4

It’s much better than final season GOT imo. Enjoying it tbh. Doesn’t have the same depth or quality of writing of the original few seasons but nothing will.
