TV Series

On the last couple of episodes of Series 3 of The Last Kingdom. You can definitely see the Netflix money pumping through it's veins now.

Still has the same issues with characters becoming seemingly invincible killing machines as and when the plot requires, odd pacing and character development and constant relationship resets between the main players .......but it's very good escapist fun and isn't too afraid to stick the knife (sometimes literally) into big characters.

Giving gammorah a break for a bit.

It’s a bit much. I prefer a slow build type of show.

Just started the newsroom which I think I’ll smash in a few weeks.

Six feet under continues to be one of the best things I’ve watched.

Well, my verdict on White Lines.
Just about held my interest. There was a story there and on the whole told it reasonably well. I enjoyed the location really and the casting as well. Daniel Mays stood out for me. Harmless fun which just about avoided being as dire as Gangs of London.

The lead guy was horrible. I did watch it all quite quickly though. It was reasonably entertaining I thought. There were some pretty funny bits. I probably wouldn't bother recommending it though. Easy watch before bed

Finished Manhunt the follow up to the Unibomber - a true story absolutely brilliant watched ten episodes in 4 days - how this slipped under the radar ?
Great actors - great series - ;)
