Very true, but wasn't Stones initially a right back at Barnsley?

I haven't seen Browning at CB I don't think so can't judge really.

He was in the team at rightback, but apparently centreback is his number one position. Even Moyes said at the time we bought him as a centreback and all his youth level games were played at centreback.

He's 2inches smaller than Jagielka. Not that much of a worry.
Jags is a smaller CB though, I just think if we played Browning and Jags together and we played an opposition with a proper target man or a bigger striker we'd really struggle in the air and with pieces.

Fair enough...

Again, he's played 10 minutes this season so thats the least you would expect no ? So in 10 minutes this season, he hasn't put a foot wrong (fair play) and he hasn't done anything at all of note... so that's average. Not understanding the wank fest to justify average.

That's all we need from Coleman's understudy. If he can come in and do his job perfectly then great, believe the hype.

Yeah, it's very valuable in a good young prospect to be able to play in a couple of positions. Hopefully he can grow to be a bit of a better right back than Stones is even though they're both primarily centre backs.

Should be fine up against Benteke next game then...

Im not convinced yet.

It was only a couple of weeks ago when people were fuming on here because Bobby didnt bring in a RB on deadline day as cover for Coleman. Was it not?

A good majority on here were rightfully concerned by our lack of cover at RB and CB. Do we not need to be concerned anymore?

Because Distin and Jags have always handled him well? This sort of thinking at Everton annoys me. Lets not try a youngster because he might make a mistake, instead we'll stick with the senior players who we know will definitely make a mistake.

The amount of score draws we've had v Villa is ridiculous so I would not stick witu Jagielka and Distin as they are guaranteed to let in at least two.

Id just chuck him in against villa like bobby did to stones last year.
If we have coleman back he is surrounded by experience in jags, coleman, barry, baines to help him through it, see if he sinks or swims.
Makes better sence then going back to distin or using alcatraz

agree with you in principle but he had a pretty big role to play in our equaliser in the derby

To be honest I'd quite like Browning to be given a go but I think combining our 2 shortest CB's against Benteke is asking for trouble.[/QUOTE]

Too early to judge him , looked okay against Liverpool , didn't look too confident versus United.
Give him more time in substitution situations.Shows promise but needs to be shown caution.

because he lashed over a cross that went by everyone about 10 seconds before Jags' screamer ? eh ?

McGeady whipped in another cross after that one and it was a pretty poor defensive clearance that led to the boot of jagielka. How far back in play do you have to go to play ' pretty big roles ' in a goal. I'm not saying the lad is wank, far from it; I just think from what i've seen of him, he is average. I don't expect nothing more from him at this stage of his career. The love in is a bit strange when you consider i've farted for a longer duration than he has played minutes. Lets settle down on him

Agreed. Some sense here.

Browning = average

But he will build on it as he will get more minutes.
