Browning ( low baseline notwithstanding ) had his most effective game yesterday, not that Coleman won't be right back in, but he won't have to be rushed back only 90% fit.

Baines on the other hand could be looking at bench time

How it's changed; Everybody looked on in amazement and laughed when Arsenal manager Don Howe bought fullback Viv Anderson coz he wanted some 'attacking width'

The lad did fine, playing in a defense with the exception of jags would have less than a dozen games between them, and the handicap of Howard behind them, who offers no help in commanding his area.
Going to be a decent player this is just the beginning for him, so its not fair to judge him against Coleman at this stage.

With Jagielka as the senior centre back we really have some depth in that position and as the captain hopefully he can help bringing these guys on over the next couple of seasons:

LCB -- Galloway / Mori
RCB -- Stones /Browning

Really incredible to have such strength in depth and if Browning can improve at right back it will mean we have the back 4 and decent cover for a long time able to grow together and form partnerships/understandings.

People are really spoiled with some of our young players at the moment.

He's a good lad and won't let us down defensively when we need him. If that's not my perfect idea of a squad player CB then I don't know what is.

Let me say for the fifth or sixth time that I'm not saying Browning is a bad player. I'm saying we can't afford to have that kind of performance from our right back if we want to consistently win matches. Browning looked like a central defender at right back, which is no shade on him, because that's what he is. I don't even see any reason to think he couldn't develop into a decent right back at some point -- it took a few matches before it seemed to click for Galloway, but now he's doing really well and Browning seems like a similar kind of player. But looking purely at yesterday's match, I think right back was the single biggest reason that we drew the match instead of winning. Is that really that controversial?

Why do you hate Browning mate?

Do you hate Lukaku for the same reasons?

Can't believe you think Browning's a bad player. He played well yesterday.

Maybe we should just go out and get a Lars Jacobsen type player instead of giving our youth a chance (which have not let us down). Even have a word with Lucas Neil, grab james McFadden as a number 10 because we lost out on yarmolenko.

I understand some are nervous about Galloway and browning with the new guy mori, but honestly I am proud of the lads contribution, also how well Jagielka has kept it together as the mentor. Just remember every player starts out as inexperienced, I am more confident now that we have seen the 3 lads get a decent run out.
