EMERY IN!!!
Have I got the right bloke yeah?
On a serious note, I'm not convinced he should be our first choice. I'd take him over Moyes and Hughes like.

Yeah, it was a device so I could mention Díck Emery and stay on topic. Most people would take anyone over Moyes and Hughes, so not flattering at all.
If you have to sell players each summer and have a big net loss you are having to constantly build a new side. I read 18 players one year, 11 another year. It takes time to integrate those players and have everyone playing the way you want them to. The flip side of this is you are losing your better players e.g it looks like he's losing Banega and Gaimero this summer, you need those players to stay so you can compete against the top teams. Sure he brings in younger players and develops them but it may take them a few years to get to the level of the older players. It's a constant juggling act. In that context is it any wonder that they dropped out the champions league group stage this season?I see 2 things here.
1) Sevilla can't beat teams at the UCL level. Perhaps a symptom of their lack of holding on to key players?
2) Sevilla can't beat teams at the UCL level, the next level for Emery to challenge himself at. Doesn't that support the theory he has brought Sevilla the furthest that he can? That means for him to challenge himself, he needs to move elsewhere. We might not be in EL or UCL next year but we're in better financial shape to challenge.
Don't disagree that these aren't the hardest opponents to beat, but losing to the likes of City, Gladbach (1x) and Juventus aren't unacceptable at most clubs. That away form is worrying sure, but that's one season after 2 decent seasons.
If we get the chance to beat the mighty Mladost Podgorica, I'm sure most of us will take it easily!
In a strange way I feel better about that because it explains a lot!The team Steve McClaren won the league with are about to be relegated for breaking the rules.
Basically he cheated.
It's a constant juggling act.
I'd actually take him over FDB though.
Yeah it's underwhelming I don't care that no one else has managed it, and that Liverpool team is crap I mean beating Villareal and Borussia Dortmund - so what. You say winning the Europa League 3 times is good and I totally agree.
BUT, lets look at the clubs he beat in the finals.
This year, a Vermin team that finished 8th in its league, a team that hasnt won its league title for 26? years
Last year, Dinipro, a team that has NEVER won its domestic league
Then Benfica, a domestic powerhouse who last won a major European trophy over 50 years ago
/shrug

Don't even get me started on that Cocu I mean all he's beaten is some jarg team managed by a no mark in some European league that's the equivalent of League two.
If I have to take anyone I'll just about take Jose but seriously 16th last year, lost the players, then sacked - even he's not that good. Now where the hell is Vitor?
I'm good, not fuming at allWhy you fuming?
Well done to Emery for winning the losers cup.
Im sure he will enjoy his CL next season.
