It's weird having that as the narrative when the US and Canada are a point apart
People are so desperate it seems, largely in the media to go ape sh** after every match. And I don't mean to apply this to the US, any team has one bad result and it's always just the start of the end.
The US draws after beating Mexico with a couple players hurt and a few others suspended against a Jamaica side that is better than where they are in the table and they're faltering?
I thought they were crap, and had no energy but I expected the dud. The mexico game is always gonna pose an issue, whether it was the 1st or 2nd of the window. The energy was gonna be off.
The same thing happened after the loss to Panama. I don't understand why fans and pundits seem to not be able to realize that these guys are people and not machines, of course I get frustrated with them at times, but I know you're gonna lose. Guys are gonna take bad cards, show up with no energy. It happens. I know we act like it never happens, but it happens to every team.
Being able to get out of that with a draw is totally what you want out of your side.
They're really young. Suspect coaching, I don't think it's happened at times where they don't show up to play and you can't understand why.
It's always been, injuries, guys missing, away game after a big win. It's never been multiple games in a row.
They're fine.
