See I’d be able to get behind that if it was just the odd controversial decision, but these referees get more wrong than they do right, they literally cannot do their jobs.

I do understand what you mean but I would prefer the refs got trained properly and tested and examined before embarking on the premier league, I think VAR is a lazy way of doing things

Question 1: Is this good or bad for the 'big' clubs?

I think bad, right? Given how frequently they benefit from ridiculous decisions compared to smaller clubs.

Question 2: Can officials still get away with blatant cheating and favouritism as they currently do?

I think somehow this will be possible. VAR official refusing to look at an obvious referee 'mistake', for example.

Question 3: Will VAR level out the playing field for all teams and make it a mit fairer than it currently is?

I hope so.

The cynic in me thinks the 'big' clubs will still somehow end up benefiting from the more questionable decisions.

Its been voted for.

Video assistant referees are set to be used in the Premier League next season, after the clubs agreed in principle to the move.
I must be going a bit mad,as i thought it WAS going to be used next season anyway, and it was only stoped for this season as teams were not 100% sure-so a 1 season delay,so one way or the other,it was 100% going to be in prem next season anyway

Inappropriate Language
All for it, me.

Certainly Everton would benefit from it, given the piss-poor decisions against us this season.

Now watch the RS snide the league this season before VAR is brought in through "charitable" officials.

All we need is VAR plus microphones on the referees like they do in rugby. It's so simple. You'd nearly think the FA don't want a level playing field.

We've all seen from the WC that it can be implemented well and cause minimal delays, yet still some people are against it, mostly for reasons that have already been disproven by the WC.

It'll be great and mean refs will be held more accountable for key decisions during matches.
