Don't get the decision tbh

We have opposite opinions on this one, mate. Maybe we're showing why it took them so longIt seemed to me that after 2 minutes of checking, they hadn't even been able to draw the lines. I couldn't even see the defenders boots on one of the clips.
In real time I said he was on and watching all the replays and the VAR hasn't made me change my mind.
Did you see how thick the spectacles were on the pair of them? What was is, 3, 4 minutes to decide he was offside? Looked level AT WORST to me yet they seemed to find some magical daylight when drawing the lines.
If it's taking that long to check then it's clearly not a clear and obvious error is it.
Have we had the lines drawn pic from today?
Objectively speaking though there’s 2 men offside there and you don’t need lines drawn to see itView attachment 280368
Total bollocks. As a striker you look along the line to know your position, you can't judge a toe or your forehead in game played at pace. The offside rule was to stop goal hanging, the above isn't an example of that at all, so if you have to draw a line to decide if the attacker is onside or not, they are onside!
The authorities are sucking the joy out of football, we are there for the goals and almost every bloody one now is sent for review as they try and find a reason to disallow (if you are on the PL/ref blacklist) or allow, if you are on the favorite pile.
Sadly yes.Objectively speaking though there’s 2 men offside there and you don’t need lines drawn to see it

They're level. If we were to move the lines back so it passes through the centre mass it would intersect straight through them all including the linesman. Appendages for me don't count, that was never in the spirit of the game or rules. That's a modern thing trying to introduce some razzmatazz that is totally unnecessary to a game that should NEVER have a 3 minute pause to decide if something is legit or not. If it's not clear and obvious then it should be allowed. And just to point out had that been a Southampton goal chalked off, I would have equally felt the same injustice. That's a goal.
That example would be really interesting to see if the automated system would have allowed it or not.
