VAR

Meanwhile in La Liga

Very much like Beto, you've got a situation where part of the attacking player (trailing leg) is closer to his own goal than any part of the defender, yet it's offside. Bloody hate technology.
But if it was consistent, you'd accept it. But we've had yesterday and Calvert Lewin at Fulham given off but the Idak goal at Chelsea was given in similar circumstances.

Yeah we basically see situations where a players shoe size could make a difference. 'He's on side Jeff, luckily he's only a size 6' :hayee:

Do little skinny players have an advantage? Do large attacking players have a disadvantage? It's mental.

Can’t understand why we haven’t got this in the Premiership? We have had 2 very narrow decisions go against us in the last 2 games…. Surely this gives you a lot more clarity
No problem with the technology used even if it is close as that but the idea the so called " best league in the world" has to rely on a couple of guys drawing lines on a screen is unacceptable.

Seriously think var is one of the very worst things to happen in football. The original idea was okay, but it leaves far too much to interpretation. Goal line technology on the other hand takes human error or bias out of it all together. Fans/ players have had much of the joy removed from their match experience, as soon as you're team scores you're elation immediately becomes doubt. It's not the way football should be, just a personal opinion that in today's football times means nothing.
