Part of me says "I can't believe it" and part of me says "typical."

I really thought he was going to be serious about turning things around this season.

I haven't read other than missing training what he'd done so speculation is useless in this case but it would be an understatement if I said that I was disappointed as I really wanted to see him regain his form of old for us.

Looks like that's not going to happen now. Really too bad.

What are our options with him? I can't see anyone buying him. Is it possible to sack him without paying up his contract? I know in most professions this would be standard but football seems to play by different rules to the rest of society.

Guess that depends on how his contract is worded. Some contracts have clauses that give the club possibilities if the player doesn't fullfill their part. Like Moyes is doing now. There might be a clause that enables the club to offload a player if he repeatedly break the rules of his contract.

I wonder what the rest of the squad think about him, Moyes has built up a tough squad spirit and all players seem to be able to handle it, this guy is now taking the p1ss and should have his contact burned, one bad apple can do a lot of damage. I would say make him train with the youth team, but I wouldnt want them catching his bad attitude. Come on davey tell the miserable git to sling his hook. (I dont know the complete story, so I might be jumping in feet first, but this isnt the first time, and I doubt it will be the last)

There will almost certainly be a gross misconduct clause in his contract - whether or not his latest behaviour warrants the charge of gross misconduct will be left to the lawyers.

What can I say? Very disappointed with his action, he should be punish no two ways about it. I've stick by him long enough but this episode might be the turning point.
