I wouldn't say better because it depends on the brand (can't eat those Richmond rubbish etc.), but a good veggie sausage is very nice.

I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian, however I do find it awkward when all the self-professed meat monsters shout down their opposites, and vice versa.

I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables; when I go out, I can and often do choose a vegetarian option or go for everything vegetarian. It's what I like on the day!

I probably eat meat only a couple of days a week, and there's some great vegan food too. But equally, I like chicken, lamb, beef and sausage occasionally.

My point being, perhaps around the houses, is that it's all down to moderation and the quality. As I've said before, we get most our meat from the butchers.
