excellent first half by vic!! listening to game on espn and craig burnley was saying they were staying in the same hotel as everton staff last night and he asked them about vic and they said he lacks confidence in himself and sometimes dosnt believe hes good enough to play at this level seems different story to what ppl have been saying on here about him that he thinks hes the best player in the world and is full of himself!!! delighted to see him playing well and scoring have always rated him!

Absolutely made up for Vic. Anichebe of 2012 has looked a serious player.

A bit more aggression and fight has helped him bring out his physical attributes but his composure in front of goal has improved. And something I noticed today that I've rarely said about him before is that he's shown really good intelligence and helped bring others into play. He's played like a quality lone striker has to.

His game was always there to see if people were willing to look. He's a handful and I cant believe we were trying to ship him out in the summer.

He's had the shitty end of the stick off a lot of blues over a contract squabble (look at how Fellaini's had a blind eye turned to his far worse act of 'disloyalty') and I believe Steve Round and some of the Everton media team have it on their conscience how a training ground bust up was leaked out. It all poisoned the atmosphere for the lad.

Spot on, it's baffled me how our player can just breeze on like it never happened.

He was woeful in the 2010-11 season and did not play very well on the whole last season either (despite his goals).

He played well today, but lets not go re-writing the history books.

Played very well today but still a few occasions where he looked to be strolling around uninterested which is his biggest problem.

Whether it was because he was knackered or just his natural style we can never change i don't know but he still needs to show improvement in that area and add more consistency to his game.

But full credit to him, today was a great base to start from but its still early yet.
