His game was always there to see if people were willing to look. He's a handful and I cant believe we were trying to ship him out in the summer.

He's had the shitty end of the stick off a lot of blues over a contract squabble (look at how Fellaini's had a blind eye turned to his far worse act of 'disloyalty') and I believe Steve Round and some of the Everton media team have it on their conscience how a training ground bust up was leaked out. It all poisoned the atmosphere for the lad.

Oh shut up. 20 goals in 138 games. He's looked awful before this season.

Good player showed that he's not lazy as I thought . Needs to work on link up play and positioning couple of times he drifted away from Fellaini which could of got goals

Played very well today, people saying he was caught strolling around a couple of times but I think he needed a breather from time to time, I don't think I've ever seen him run so much! Can't remember the last time he played that well in the league, especially for the full 90 minutes. Well in Victor.

Victor isn't top-top class, of course he isn't, but his limitations (magnified beyond all reason, IMO) are outweighed by his plus points. Do we really think a club of our means anywhere can have a deputy striker to call on better than him? Sorry, we'll have to get a board of directors ,worthy of the name first.

I think an awful lot of the criticism is down to perceived attitude: but who can say from a position of strength what his 'attitude' is?

He has been utterly dross for several years now but today was an absolutely belting game for him, well in lad Newcastle he scored but was pretty poor as a team player, today he was ace.
People get on his back because he's been ****e. The same people are also able to see when this is not the case.. Today was such an event and he won me around big time today.
This is what people want from him, if people like Davek think that walking around the pitch with his head down, or rolling around on the floor instead of going for goal is good enough when he's able to do things like he did today then fair enough. Personally I'd rather see him putting in that level of effort every week.. Its what he's payed for and what he is capable of.

Most of my bed rep is down to my supporting of Victor. Hope the big guy has proved some people wrong today, yes he should of have a hattrick, but his overall performance to top standard

His attitude has been terrible.

Please stop trying to re-write history Dave mate, it wont work here.

But again, I stress, today he was superb.

Led the line very well today, used his strength and put in a fair bit of effort. Still needs to work on his composure in front of goal, but if he carries on in this vein you can see him becoming a consistently useful player.

What a performance by Victor all the slaters on here may go quiet - when the ball is played into his feet he is so powerfull what a great team performance Felli could have had 5 victor could have had more toal football of the highest order - PN looked good just two bad passes - Victor ran the line well hope he keeps it up looks better with every game effectiv & really that should have been 3 goals in 2 games for him - anyone who slates him after that performance please take judgement on yourselves get behind the lad he looked like a young Drogba today pace power & a cracking opening goal! I am made up for him and all the blues who have backed him on this thread!!!!!!
