He did well back to goal today, which suits our playing style as he's holding it up if we play it into his feet.

He's got two decent games ahead of him in Leeds and Southampton to build on this.

Koff lad, your getting boring now ffs. Read back through my posts about Vic ....... im glad he's done well today but he's gotta do it every week now..... he's no feckin Drogba though lad.

The underlined bit...... is that not what i've said you tit.

I've given Victor some stick in the past, perhaps more than he deserved. But if he played every match like he played today, he'd go up no end in my estimation.

Well played Vic, that's more of what I want to see lad, you've got it in you, you've just been gash for most of the last 6 years.

The more he proves me wrong the happier I am. Just don't score 10 you beaut.

Comfortably the best game he's had for... pfft can't even remember the last time he had a good game.

The problem with Vic is that I'm 99% sure he'll resort to being gash next game. All the raw ingredients to be a success though, and to his credit he's stayed at the club and he's battling to make it.

And despite his reputation as a sulker, you never hear him in the press or on Twitter making a fool of himself and having a go at the club.

I still think he'll turn out to be lower EPL/Championship level in terms of quality but good on him for making an impact today.

just read this rant again properly....... where have I slated Vic after todays game mate ???? if your'e gonna have a dig at least be truthfull mate... don't make things up to suit your argument as it makes you look stupid.

I'd give him 8/10 today. Fantastic runs, good passes and good shots on goal, but missed abit of a sitter and did make a few bad passes.

He did play great today though, amazing how good he can play when you play the ball to his feet, and he has help around him, rather than being upfront alone
