Honestly, I'm 6 foot plus, stocky build, can run all day and would give a player marking me a hard game, but if I'm not a good player then I'm not a good player, strength and running only get you so far...the championship teams are full of players like that.

I don't mind Anichebe as long as he's working hard. He offers more than Jelavic.

My expectations are very low when it comes to strikers though. After the final year of Saha/Cahill I'm made up to see even the slightest bit of movement. Those two broke me.

But people tend to rate free transfers and youth products so much more than players who cost a million when it terms of expense it's probably similar after two or three years.

Naismith, neville and hitzlsperger for instance will cost this club money, above and beyond what players like vellios, junior or kennedy will. How much we paid for them is irrelivant, it's how much we're paying them you want to judge.

However, should have played Jelavic in and we 99.9% would have been 3-1 and game over. Was too greedy there.

Also should have finished his one on one. He's just not a natural finisher. But at present our best option.

Thought Vic had a fantastic game. Lead the line really well- and bullied them all over the show.

Vic had a super game but should've finished his chance at the end. I don't think he's good enough to be our top striker long term, but as an option off the bench or a partner to a more technically accomplished forward he's dynamite. He should continue improving for years as well.

I reckon he's got a 20 goal season in him before he's done (cf. Zamora 2010).

Great squad player IMO. Best option we have available atm but we need better to be a top side.

And YES the failure to pass to jelavic at 2-1 was criminal. The chance at the end IMO was unlucky but still one you want to see hitting the back of the net really. The difference between good striker's and world class striker's there to see ?

Screamed at him for that chance and then shrugged and said Jela would have missed it anyway!
