The problem with that though mate is that it isn’t really true because I’m sure that same week Tom Davies was spotted in town in gatherings with the public, some pictures were off him not wearing a mask as well.
 
Did Villa have to play in the cup? Like did they choose to play the kids, As Shrewsbury postponed there game with Southampton and now Saints v Leeds game has moved so that cup tie v Shrewsbury can be played..
 
RS and Utd taking points from each other gives us an opportunity to establish ourselves in the top four. Villa having to play a team of sorts when it was ok for the cup tie, should be our preferred option.

Shrewsbury didn't have 14 players available to play the FA cup game. Villa and Derby played the youth squads, i doubt Shrewsbury have one anymore.

Covid has hit the lower league clubs in the pocket, they survive on the gate money. A lot of the teams have had to cut back on everything to save money, youth teams and reserve sqauds have been cut back.
 
I'm not against postponing the game at all. Needs must and I would like to think that as a club we see the bigger picture.

That said, no matter what there is always the underlying feeling that we are being screwed somehow...

I think this works perfectly for us. Davies, Gomes and Sigurdsson gives you an angry feeling when you even think about it.

I didn't even mention Zaha.

We need players regardless of whether we have Allan getting back, we have two games now that are going to have to be rescheduled for later in the season and we are well in with a shout of Champions League.

Also, whatever happens with the season, we still end up having the player for when the season comes back.
 
If it has to be postponed it has to be postponed. If many saw just how bad covid is in cities particularly London then they’d be calling for the league to be scrapped anyway.
