If teams around us drop points then it would be great to see us up there with a game in hand. Like say points get stripped around us and we beat Leicester then. That would be a great position to be in top four with a game in hand. It would really drive the team with believe.

On the other hand we could slip down the table and have to play catch up.

We lost to West Ham because they sat in deep and we have no creativity to break that type of team down, don't see how playing another game a couple of days earlier would have changed that to be honest.

Just my opinion, regardless of the city result. We win and we’re flying into West Ham, we get beat and we bounce back. Maybe I’m wrong but just my feeling.

Sounds good, but every time we have a bit of expectation on us we poo it all up. Can only imagine how the players would psychologically fall to pieces knowing by winning their game in hand could put them second or something.

Stop it with your logic and common sense please.

Before the Xmas run of games we had people moaning about playing 2 games in 2 days and that is wrong and will hurt the players.

Now we have a minor break between games and it will hurt the players.

Getting like RAWK and playing the victim card.

True but I hope carlo is slowly changing that about us as we have won one or two games that put us in top four. Of course lost important ones aswell.
 
We will need a lot of draws in other games etc over the next week odd, to stop us slowly going down the league,it happened somehow in about 7 games a few weeks ago, bar man utd winning Injury time

Some teams will play 3 times before we next play in the league, so it's a bit of a mess of a season. The main thing was we got the points on Tuesday to stay in good shape. It would have been more of an issue if we had lost and then we would possibly have found ourselves midtable by the Leicester game.

There are a few games over next week where teams around us play each other. Southampton v Leicester, Leicester v Chelsea, Liverpool v United etc so teams will drop points.
