Has anyone made a record player stand before? If not, any stands people would recommend? Missus is big into mid-century/scandanavian style atm

I`ve got a stand fromTarget Audio for mine and for my speakers too.
They sit on metal pins, so in theory the sound doesn`t earth.
You can get them on the likes of Ebay now for buttons.
